Hardware specifications
Dimidium Roleplay runs on a premium GTX-server based in Amsterdam. Currently the server has the following specifications:
- 10 slots
- 5.2Ghz+ (16 Cores32 Threads) (OC Extreme Performance)
- Realtime CPU Priority (Extreme Turbo Boost)
- Up to 20GB memory allocation
- NVMe. M2 Enterprise (Extreme Performance)
The server will be upgraded further if needed.
Server maintenance
The server has a carefully managed restart schedule in order to keep availability at the highest level for Europe-based users:
- Forced restart and back-up: 06.00 (CET)
- Forced restart and back-up: 18.00 (CET)
- Check for Steam Update: Every 45 minutes, the server won’t be restarted if there are players online or if the server is up-to-date.
- Workshop Update: 08.00 (CET)
Additional restarts could be forced by admins due to server maintenance and updates.
Mods
The server has several mods. Currently, the following mods are installed:
- Nanobot Build and Repair
- Hubblegum Skybox
- BuildInfo
- HUD Compass
- Block Restrictions
- Rotate skybox with the Sun
- Production Quota
- Modular Encounters System (additional encounters could be added during the season)
Server configuration
The server has a lot of modifications in order to improve RP, these modifications include:
- Limited number of factions
- Unlimited PCU
- Some block-limits in order to increase roleplay
